1. Product Authenticity & Functionality
All cameras and accessories sold by filem.sg are authentic vintage or pre-owned items, unless stated otherwise. Every unit undergoes functional, optical, and cosmetic inspection based on our Camera Condition Rubrics before being listed for sale.
While we ensure that all cameras are fully operational at the time of sale, please note that vintage cameras may exhibit natural signs of age and use consistent with their condition grading.
2. Warranty & Liability
filem.sg does not provide a standard warranty for any camera or accessory. All items are sold as described, following our grading and inspection process.
Before shipment, filem records each camera’s working and cosmetic condition for transparency and verification. As all items are documented prior to dispatch, no warranty applies after delivery. filem will also not be responsible for any disputes raised more than 10 days after the shipment’s arrival, so buyers are encouraged to check their items promptly.
For customers who prefer additional assurance, an optional secondary inspection can be arranged by our local specialist for deeper mechanical and optical testing (at an additional cost). Any post-purchase issues will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and remedies such as repair, replacement, or refund will be considered at filem.sg’s discretion.
filem.sg is not liable for:
- Damage caused by misuse, impact, improper storage, or unauthorised repairs
- Failure of film, batteries, or accessories used with the camera
- Losses resulting from user handling or environmental conditions (humidity, fungus, etc.).
3. Inspection & Modifications
The integrity of each camera is ensured through standardised inspections by our trusted international partners. Any unauthorised tampering, disassembly, or modification by the user or third-party service providers will void any eligibility for case-by-case support or compensation.
4. Film & Image Results
Due to the nature of analog photography, filem.sg is not responsible for the outcome or quality of images captured using film purchased or used with our cameras. Film performance depends on handling, age, storage conditions, and camera settings, all of which are outside our control.

6. Shipping & Handling
All items are carefully inspected and packed before dispatch. Shipping timelines may vary depending on destination and availability. filem.sg is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by third-party couriers, though we will assist in filing claims where applicable.
For faster delivery, express shipping may be arranged upon request.
7. Limitations of Liability
filem.sg’s total liability under any circumstance shall not exceed the original purchase price of the item in question. By purchasing or consigning with us, you agree that filem.sg shall not be held responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of film, data, or opportunity.

By placing an order, engaging in consignment, or making any purchase with filem.sg, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service
